High school hours are expanding

Next year, students will have more access to high school courses at most community high schools across the city as they extend their timetables. Starting in the fall, high schools will offer six blocks of programming compared to the four many currently offer.

Start and end times, as well as the courses offered in these blocks, will differ for each high school. Schools will be engaging their students, families and staff to learn more about the needs of their school community.

High school principals will be providing more information to staff as they begin to think about what these changes will look like at their school. Please reach out to your high school principal if you have questions or would like more information.
