STEP 2: APPLY ONLINE

Complete an online application to the International Student Program:

(You can only upload one file per field. If you try to upload multiple files in the same field, only one will be saved. If you need to submit multiple documents, combine them into a single file before uploading.)

  • Once submitted, the applicant will receive a confirmation email with a reference number. Ensure you have entered your email address correctly when applying. All future communications regarding the application will be sent to the email of the submitter of the application.
  • The application will be reviewed to determine eligibility.
  • The International Student Program will contact the applicant once the application has been reviewed.
  • Please do not submit your application more than once.

STEP 3: PAY YOUR FEES

After your application is approved:

  • You will receive an invoice (application fee, tuition and insurance fees) by email for the study period along with Flywire payment instructions.
  • Payment must be made in full within 30 days to receive your Letter of Acceptance and receipt.
  • Note: If payment is not received within 30 days, the application will be cancelled.

STEP 4: (HOMESTAY APPLICANTS ONLY)

If you are applying for Homestay, complete the Homestay application through The Canada Homestay Network (CHN):

  • Once CHN receives your application, they will contact you to complete any necessary custodianship documentation and provide your Homestay invoice.
  • Payment must be made in full for the Homestay invoice.
  • The International Student Program (ISP) will issue the Letter of Acceptance only after your CHN application is completed and Custodianship Documents are notarized by CHN.

NEXT STEPS: FINALIZING YOUR APPLICATION:

After Steps 1-4 are completed:

  • A final school match will be confirmed for the student.
  • You will receive an official Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and a receipt for academic fees.
  • If under 18 and in Homestay, you will also receive a notarized CHN Custodianship Declaration Form.
  • Health insurance documents will be sent to the applicant’s email before the program begins.

Study Permit Requirement:

If your study program is 6 months or longer, use the LoA to apply for a Study Permit with Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. You must receive approval for your Study Permit before travelling to Canada.

  • Once the Study Permit has been approved, ensure you notify ISP along with flight confirmation details so that a registration appointment can be scheduled at school.
  • Depending on your citizenship, you may also need a Visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to enter Canada.
